Where’s Your Circle?

They drove in a circle…no, they weren’t lost! Pastor Mike, and his wife, Sheila, were driving in a circle around Faith Community Church praying for the people, homes and towns they were driving past. You can see their route in the attached picture. They were praying for the work of the church through what we are calling V2020. They did this after reading “Draw Your Circle” – a 40 day prayer challenge.

In a recent message, Pastor Mike asked all faith groups to commit to praying for V2020 as well. You received an attachment showing some specific prayer items and general prayer guidelines for praying about V2020.

We want to challenge you as a Faith Group leader and in your faith groups…

…to draw your circle….

…and…

…pray for those within that circle using the handout we provided.

Pastor Mike and Sheila drew a geographical circle, representing a certain distance from the church, an area where we want to make a difference in the lives of 125,000 people. They prayed for those people lives to be transformed, for God’s kingdom to grow, and the gospel to take root.

You might draw a different circle…

  • A relational circle around family.
  • A social circle around friends.
  • A business circle around work
  • A geographic circle around your neighborhood

Whatever circle your draw, regardless of size or type, pray for those within it. Pray for the people to be transformed, God’s kingdom to grow and the gospel to take root. Pray…with faith, with love and with expectant hope for God to move.
