Small Group Leaders Require Unnatural Selection

The Bible shows us time and again that the future leaders God chooses are oftentimes not the most skillful, intelligent or well spoken but have an insatiable desire to grow closer to Him and others. In this article, Reid Smith explains ten ways the group leader can foster and empower an individual to lead within the context of their small group. I believe that in one form or another Christ calls every Christian to be a leader, an example and an extension of his love to the lost. There is nothing more encouraging than to see group leaders raise up others to fulfill God’s plan for their lives in the context of community.
